Write your rules the way your league does, in your own words. The lineup is built from them, then the numbers — innings, minimum time in the field, pitching limits, who's rested and, if your league has the rule and you turn it on, no one sitting two innings in a row — are double-checked in code. If one of those doesn't fit, you're told exactly which, never shown a clean-looking plan.
Everyone clears your league's minimum, and — with the optional no-back-to-back rule turned on, as here — no one sits two innings in a row. Switch to Best lineup when you want your strongest group on the field.
Type in pitch counts after the game. The rest days your league requires are worked out for you, so Saturday's lineup already knows Finn needs a break.
Tap a position, pick who goes in. Every swap is checked against your rest rules — a problem is flagged plainly, but the call is always yours.
Roll the ball gently. The fielder catches with the glove down and the bare hand closing on top like a jaw — chest forward over the ball, not standing tall.
Every drill comes with how to run it, what to bring and how long it takes — and many include the exact words to say. Don't like one? Swap it for another drill working the same skill.

One inning at a time.
The whole game is planned, but the board only shows the inning you're in — so a seven-year-old isn't spending the 2nd inning worrying about sitting in the 5th.

Arms first. Every time.
Rest days come from the pitch counts you log — calculated, not guessed. Before a lineup is built, it already knows who can't pitch. If anything slips through, the lineup is checked again and corrected — and if a problem can't be fixed, it's flagged instead of hidden.
You're still the coach. Warnings explain what's wrong and when a pitcher is clear — they never lock you out.
Your league's rules, plus the guideline. Pitch Smart reminders sit alongside whatever your league or tournament allows.
Tournament days add up. Plan three games in a day and the day's pitches are added up across all of them, not one at a time. Games not yet played count as estimates based on your per-game limit.
Show up with a plan.
Tell it how long you have and how many adults showed up. Get a minute-by-minute plan from a curated drill library that rotates through different skills week to week — so the whole team gets better, not just the same drill on repeat.
- Every drill explained step by step, whether it's your first season or your tenth
- Themed days — turn off fielding for a hitting-only practice
- An optional fun finisher, and the clock still adds up
